Greetings from the Interim Youth Misisoner from the Diocese of Bethlehem,
We are leaving for New Orleans in 5 days. Can you believe it?
After a year of planning, fundraising, praying and packing we are finally going to see what has been done in the two years since our first trip to NOLA in 2007.
I want to thank all our stockholders, our parents, our chaperones and our churches (clergy, staff and administration) for all you have done. This has not been an eay trip to plan with everything that has happened in the Diocese of Bethlehem in the past year.
Many thanks to Demery Bader Saye for her leadership and her endorsement of the trip in the midst of her move South. We miss her and the boys very much (oh and Scott too).
As we get on with the final leg of the planning phase please be sure to get all your paper work in, your stocks and any other information that has to come to the Diocesean House As soon as humanly possible.
If you have any questions please get in touch with me.
Yours in Christ,
Kim

Howdy Group!
ReplyDeleteWe are planning a carpool/caravan from Cathedral Church of the Nativity (321 Wyandotte Street, Bethlehem, PA 18015) to Newark Airport and on the return trip also. I have arranged carpool drivers (parents and other Nativity people) who will drive the group to Newark and also pick us up on August 1.
I need to hear back from everyone as to your plan for getting to and from Newark, either coming in the carpool caravan or getting yourself to/from Newark. Either option is completely fine based on what you and your families decide, I just need to get an accurate head count and know how many people are meeting us at the airport in Newark (and to be sure not to leave anyone behind!).
Some of you have told me verbally or we've discussed by email but just to be easy on me please everyone respond so I get a proper head count for the carpool effort.
Thanks!! Brian
Thanks, Kim, for setting up the blog!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Brian, for ALL the time and effort you've put into our mission. Can't wait! T-2!
